The wear resistance of die depends on the chemical composition and heat treatment hardness of steel, so improving the hardness of die is helpful to improve its wear resistance.
            Excellent machinability: most plastic molds need a certain degree of cutting and fitter repair in addition to EMD processing. In order to prolong the service life of cutting tools, improve cutting performance and reduce surface roughness, the hardness of plastic die steel must be appropriate.
            Good polishing performance: excellent plastic products, requiring small surface roughness. The steel used for this purpose needs less material impurities, fine and uniform structure, no fiber direction, and there shall be no pitting or orange peel like defects in polishing.
            Good thermal stability: the shape of injection mold parts is often complex and difficult to process after quenching. Good thermal stability should be used as much as possible. After mold processing and heat treatment, due to small linear expansion coefficient and small heat treatment deformation, small size change rate and stable metallographic structure and mold size, the temperature difference can be reduced or no longer processed, It can meet the requirements of die dimensional accuracy and surface roughness.
